The Story

Our Queen Black Chickpeas are smaller and darker than their beige-coloured cousins. These beauties bring a deep, roasted flavour with a firm bite + a SUPER creamy centre. Their slightly thicker skin makes them seem almost al dente in texture.Slow-cook them into something rich and savoury, or confit them until buttery soft in this one-pan black chickpea, baharat + orange bake. Made in collaboration with Yotam Ottolenghi. 

Sourced for flavour, cooked low and slow, jarred in fresh water with a pinch of salt, + with no additives, to preserve their natural flavour.
